Movie Night

We’re going to have another movie night on Tuesday, Feb. 23rd at Brett’s photo studio in Chinatown.
Here are some of the titles we may choose from courtesy of Patrick Casey:
Hunt vs Lauda – documentary of their rivalry around the 1976 F1 season.
Steve McQueen The Man & Le Mans – documentary of the making of his film: Le Mans
Winning – The racing life of Paul Newman – documentary of his career
If none of these appeal to you, I’ll also be bringing my Jaguar Factory Le Mans movies from the 1950s. These were the days when lots of racers would drive the “race car” to the track, race all day, and in this case, all night, and then drive the same car home. From a time when being thrown from the car was considered safer than remaining inside during a crash.
Needless to say…times have changed since then. The club will buy pizza after we see how many members show up. Plan on arriving about 6:30. You will need to bring something to drink, like the tech sessions, but for real this time.
