I am in a tight spot with my Land Rover and I am hoping someone can help.
Bottom line is that I need an exhaust valve for my 1985 Land Rover 90 2.25 petrol engine.
The trouble is the Corona Virus has the mainland and UK distributors closed or unable to help me.
The long story is the Rover developed a miss and I troubleshot it down to the #1 cylinder. I decided it must be the exhaust valve and pulled the head to find the valve was indeed cracked. I now have the head at the machine shop but to finish the machine work I need the replacement valve.
Does anyone have any ideas? I have tried several vendors on the mainland in the past week and still have a few replies due out.
The machine shop locally can probably make it but that would be very expensive.
